The first council meeting of the Computer Science Programs at Benha National University for the academic year 2024/2025 was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Shady El-Mashad, Director of the College Programs, with the attendance of council members: Dr. Ahmed Taha, Dr. Abdelrahman Said, Dr. Marwa Youssef, Dr. Manar Hosni, Dr. Israa Mosleh, in addition to representatives from the supporting staff.
Dr. Shady El-Mashad opened the session by congratulating the members of the College Programs Council, faculty members, supporting staff, and students on the commencement of the new academic year.
During the session, the Director emphasized the completion of all preparations for the start of the academic year, ensuring the presence of academic and administrative leaders, as well as faculty members, at their designated positions from the very first day to guarantee the smooth progress of the educational process. He highlighted the importance of adhering to class schedules and the academic calendar for the year.
Dr. El-Mashad also stressed the college's commitment to providing a healthy and suitable educational and psychological environment to enhance the quality of educational services offered by the university. He urged attention to student activities, the support of talented students, and the discovery of their potential in various fields.
On another note, Dr. Shady El-Mashad reviewed the active participation of the college in the Entrepreneurship Program as part of the "Decent Life" initiative. This was achieved through the participation of a number of students from the college in the orientation day for the Entrepreneurship Program, which aims to provide financial support for youth ideas that are feasible and applicable in this domain. This initiative aligns with Egypt's vision and its focus on developing youth skills and capabilities, enhancing their innovation potential, and contributing to sustainable development.
