Artificial Intelligence Workshop Highlights Technical Collaboration and Student Engagement at Faculty of Computer Science, Benha National University

The Faculty of Computer Science at Benha National University organized a specialized workshop on Artificial Intelligence, in collaboration with GDG On Campus BNU and Route Academy, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance practical learning and strengthen students’ technical competencies in emerging technology domains.

The workshop was officially opened by Dr. Shady El-Mashad, Director of Academic Programs at the Faculty, who emphasized that such initiatives reflect the Faculty’s strategic approach to integrating academic knowledge with applied training. He noted that the Faculty is committed to providing an educational model that prioritizes experiential learning, equipping students with the skills required to effectively utilize contemporary digital tools and globally recognized platforms, thereby supporting innovation and technology-driven project development.

The event recorded strong participation from students across different academic years. Professional trainers from Route Academy delivered structured hands-on sessions focusing on modern artificial intelligence tools and methodologies, in addition to applied case studies that introduced students to the fundamentals of developing intelligent models and employing them in practical technological applications.

Participants highlighted the academic and practical value of the workshop, noting its contribution to broadening their understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and applications. At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates of participation were awarded to all attendees, and students expressed interest in further specialized training activities following the positive outcomes of the event.
